Join us Thursday, Nov 21 for the last luncheon of the year, featuring Mitch Jacobson, Executive Director of the Austin Technology Incubator and the Executive Director of Blackstone LaunchPad at The University of Texas at Austin. For the past 20 years, he has been instrumental in fostering success for young hardware companies. He’ll discuss challenges for startups, where area entrepreneurs are having success, and what we need to do as a community to help. He’ll also provide details on a new initiative and maker space for companies and startups to use shared equipment and resources in conjunction with Austin Community College and with support from ARMA.

Mitch’s 39-year career in tech includes running Dell Direct Sales in the US and expansion in Europe and worldwide, VP of Sales for Tech Data Corporation with a $7 billion P&L, and founder of the Eyes of Texas Partners Angel Investment Group in Austin, TX. He serves on the Boards of the Austin Community College Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, EcoRise, Austin Forum, TFIC, Pecan Street Inc, and the National Association of Directors.
