Fundamentals of Problem Solving
Tired of trying to solve the same problems over and over again? This one day event covers the basics of problem solving using Six Sigma tools and the DMAIC methodology. It is a hands-on course taught utilizing catapults and other simulation tools to demonstrate the class concepts. Topics include Pareto Charts, Histograms, Run Charts, Process Control, Process Capability, Causes of Variation, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Quality Function Deployment, Value Stream Mapping, Special and Common Cause Variation and Improvement Strategy. Teamwork is emphasized. Attendees will leave better prepared to tackle any problems.
