Sustainment was funded by the US Air Force to create an enhanced research tool for the purpose of connecting them to local US SME manufacturers based on process, machine, and certification regardless of the traditional industry in which a manufacturer serves. The 448th Depot at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma will begin using this tool in 2022 to locate and contract with manufacturers for up to 12,000 to-specification parts at a total value of about $6B.

Sustainment is actively recruiting manufacturers now in Oklahoma and Texas to claim or create their profile within the Texas Manufacturing Network who wish to participate in this new opportunity with the USAF and future opportunities with additional DoD and large commercial enterprises.

Sustainment is also working with the USAF to automate some of their registration process and networking with multiple manufacturing resource entities in Texas to help inform and make it easier for companies to qualify for these opportunities.
