We have 10 employees.

Tell us about your company and what it does?

Austin American Technology (AAT) manufactures and builds industrial grade cleaners for the electronics assembly industry for over 37 years. Using modern technology, Austin American Technology is the industry’s premier leader as a specialized manufacturer of Batch Cleaners, In-Line Cleaners, Solvent Cleaners, Stencil Cleaners, and many more. AAT cleaners are used for the following applications: Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Cleaning, Surface-Mount Technology (SMT), Stencil & Misprint, Flip Chip, and BGA, in several industries including: automotive, medical, military, and aerospace.

What is your company struggling with right now (ex: supply chain, workforce, specific training/hiring, etc.)?

Current struggles are finding and retaining fresh talent with the skills necessary to build our equipment. Supply chain has eased up and no longer presents much of a challenge. Staying competitive in a tight market with rising component pricing is becoming a challenge.

In what area does your company excel, or what do you do better than anyone else?

AAT holds several patents on machine design and function. We use technology driven solutions for our cleaning and drying, which is a departure from the norm in our industry. Most use the “that’s the way we’ve always done it” approach.

What is one cool fact about the company?

95% of the world’s pacemakers are cleaned in one of our machines.

Do you have any upcoming events you’d like to share?

Our largest industry event is IPC Apex show in Anaheim, CA on April 8th through the 12th.
