I grew up in the Midwest and always wanted to move to Texas! I moved to Houston and ended up being transferred to Austin, didn’t want to go. Looking back, it’s one of the best decisions I ever made as Austin is possibly the best place in the country to live! I have lived in Austin since 1991 and have never looked back!

Ireland! My parents both immigrated from Ireland and all of my family, aunts, uncles, and cousins still live there. I have been there before but this time I would bring my wife and son so they can get to know my side of the family much better.

I’m looking forward to having an early breakfast or lunch with my son before he heads back to Texas Tech. I place a high value on eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner in order to connect with people especially when it’s with my family!

Elon Musk! My job provides me with great opportunities to meet very interesting entrepreneurs. I think it would be very cool to have a conversation with an “out-of-the-box thinker” like Musk.

The number one challenge for our region is, not enough Tex-Mex or BBQ restaurants! Simply not enough of this kind of food in Central Texas…. something has to be done!

Under Pressure (Queen). There is a lot of pressure to be sure that a tournament like this is set up properly, between advanced meetings and coordination of volunteers and golf course staff all the way up to the day of the event. I really don’t understand how Liz keeps it all together, because she is truly the backbone of these tournaments. It’s really an amazing thing to see how it all comes together, it all seems to work, everyone always has a great time, it simply comes together like a beautiful symphony!
