1. How long have you lived in Austin?

10 years this month! I moved here from my home state of Colorado and have loved it ever since. You know what they say, I wasn’t born in Texas, but got here (almost) as soon as I could.

“Highlights” by Kanye West / “Time (You and I)” by Khruangbin / “Heartache Medication” by Jon Pardi

3. Most recent book you’ve read?

Leonardo da Vinci’s biography by Walter Isaacson. Weird dude, interesting book.

4. One thing you love about working in manufacturing?

It’s so practical. I used to work in software and making tactical things that people in our country actually use is very rewarding. (Wilder Systems makes robots that build airplanes…it’s pretty neat, check us out!)

5. Where is the best place you’ve traveled to?

Copenhagen, Denmark is pretty cool. Good food, friendly stylish people, lots of bikes. But nothing beats Cabo San Lucas…AKA, heaven.

6. What is your favorite inspirational quote?

7. Before working at Wilder Systems, what was the most unusual or interesting job you had?

Before Wilder Systems I was trying to start an upscale hostel! I’ll make it happen one day.
