Corrective Action Seminar - SOLD OUT

November 15, 2016 -

Corrective Action Seminar

It is an all too common practice to keep fixing the same things over and over. As a result, we become experts at fixing rather than preventing the problems and identifying opportunities for continual improvement activities.

ARMA Corrective Action provided by TMAC
November 15, 9am-4pm
Signature Science
8329 N Mopac Expy, Austin, TX 78759
ARMA Members: $275
Non-members: $325

This course outlines the Corrective Action Process and provides the background and tools necessary to complete an effective root cause analysis as well as defect prevention methods. Tools that will be covered will include:

  • 5 Why’s
  • Fishbone diagrams
  • Pareto diagrams
  • Source inspection
  • Adaptive Control
  • Mistake Proofing
  • Designing for manufacture

This unique program provides companies the opportunity to provide their employees with an overview and a strong foundation in the corrective action concepts and tools that are used. Participants will understand the difference between Corrections and Corrective Action and how both fit into a continuous improvement cycle.

These tools can be applied within any organization or workplace, by anyone; quality managers, technicians, engineers, administrators, supervisors and managers. If you have problems to be solved, you will benefit from effective corrective action.

Also covered will be how correction and corrective action ties into the latest ISO 9001:2015 standard. Ineffective corrective action continues to be one of the most cited non-conformances during certification audits. This program will help you respond to those findings and be prepared for your audit.
